Soldera and EKOenergy Launch The New Registry to Simplify Ecolabel Compliance

Soldera × EKOenergy

Tartu, Estonia / Helsinki, Finland, 14th October, 2026. Soldera, the software infrastructure company unifying renewable energy certificate devices, inventory management and registry operations into one platform, and EKOenergy, the internationally recognised mark of quality for renewable energy, today announced the launch of the EKOenergy Registry. A new database built to simplify the use of EKOenergy ecolabel and facilitate the management and expansion of the approved devices. The registry is available now to all EKOenergy-authorised sellers.

The partnership helps to improve the ecolabel experience for all market participants. The new registry brings a centralised overview of EKOenergy-approved devices, making it easier for sellers to confirm that EACs originating from a given device meet ecolabel’s criteria, before making claims to energy end users. The registry also simplifies the tasks and responsibilities of sellers and help serve their customers faster and better.

The registry scales EKOenergy’s impact as it continues to grow internationally. As EKOenergy has expanded to new countries, and as standards and regulations have become increasingly technical, the automation that Soldera provides will help EKOenergy to continue scaling.

This partnership is the next step on EKOenergy’s automation journey, one which will be continued as new features are added to the Registry. For Soldera, this partnership draws on the company’s core capability of building infrastructure for the renewable energy market, at a time where it looks for more reliable, auditable alternatives to manual processes.

"We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with EKOenergy. They bring the passion for renewable energy impact and 14 years of expertise. Soldera brings the infrastructure to make that expertise easier to apply at scale. We want to help the EKOenergy team and all sellers spend less time managing emails and attachments and more time promoting the use of renewable energy." said Stenver Jerkku, CEO and founder of Soldera.

“We are excited to start this new cooperation. We feel the growing need to automate faster and to connect our own systems to other databases that exist in the energy sector. We are confident that the new cooperation with Soldera is exactly what we need. Soldera and EKOenergy share ambition and motivation to make things more easier for renewable energy sellers and users. We now combine the great expertise of Soldera in the field of automation and AI with EKOenergy’s 14 years’ of experience in promoting renewable energy internationally.” Steven Vanholme, Programme Manager at EKOenergy.
