Build Soldera's AI Learning Loop

Soldera is the "Stripe for Renewable Energy." We are an AI-native metalayer automating the fragmented, €13B European renewable energy certificate market.

The Traction: In 2025, we executed a breakout year: revenue scaled dramatically, with consistent 30% MoM growth. We are backed by Lifeline Ventures, Lemonade Stand, and a fresh €1.6M deep-tech grant to unify Europe's energy registries.

The Mission: We are building a company where every person, workflow, decision loop, and AI agent helps the company learn faster. The goal is not to bolt chatbots onto old processes. The goal is to build a compounding loop between human expertise and AI systems, so Soldera's judgement, context, and IP get stronger every time we work.

We are hiring an AI Ops Engineer to build and operate that loop. This is a deeply technical engineering and operations role . You will work hands-on with code, APIs, automations, agent workflows, evals, structured context, knowledge systems, observability, and production-grade AI tooling. If you are not technical, this is not the right role.

The Role: Technical AI Operations at Company Scale

The next advantage for Soldera will not come from simply choosing the newest model. It will come from owning the learning system on top of models: the workflows, traces, evals, context, private knowledge, and operational judgement that make AI useful inside a real company.

Your job is to turn human capital into durable AI capability. You will help experts encode what they know, build systems that improve from use, make institutional memory queryable, and design AI workflows that remain useful even when the underlying generalist model changes.

Put simply: you will help Soldera build the company veteran layer on top of frontier models.

What You Will Build and Improve:

  • Agentic Operating Systems: Build, maintain, and debug agent workflows that help sales, marketing, operations, compliance, product, and leadership do higher-quality work with less friction.
  • OpenClaw Fleet Management: Operate and improve our fleet of AI assistants, automations, context files, skills, cron jobs, tools, and recurring operational systems.
  • Private Evals and Feedback Loops: Create practical evals that measure whether AI systems are improving against Soldera's actual business outcomes, not generic public benchmarks.
  • Institutional Memory: Build knowledge systems that capture decisions, domain expertise, workflow traces, customer context, registry rules, and company judgement in forms humans and AI agents can retrieve.
  • Technical Workflow Automation: Integrate APIs, scripts, documents, CRMs, email, Slack, analytics, registries, and internal tools into reliable AI-assisted workflows.
  • Context and Token Architecture: Design how context is stored, routed, summarized, compressed, refreshed, and handed off so AI agents get the right information without wasting tokens or leaking precision.
  • Compliance and Energy Domain Systems: Work with renewable energy certificate experts to turn complex registry, compliance, and reporting knowledge into operational AI systems that are accurate, controllable, and useful.
  • AI Sovereignty and IP Control: Help Soldera own its learning loop so our expertise compounds inside our systems instead of being commoditized by whichever model provider is fashionable this month.

Who You Are

  • Technically Strong: You can write scripts, reason about APIs, inspect logs, use Git, structure data, build internal tools, and debug weird AI workflow failures without needing someone to translate the problem for you.
  • AI-Native Operator: You already use AI systems seriously. You understand prompts, context windows, retrieval, evaluation, automation, hallucination failure modes, and the difference between a demo and a dependable workflow.
  • Systems Thinker: You naturally see the whole machine: people, incentives, tools, context, data, process, and decision loops. You notice where small workflow choices compound into major gains or quiet losses.
  • Builder, Not Commentator: You do not just talk about AI transformation. You ship working systems, test them against real users, document what changed, and keep iterating until the workflow is actually better.
  • High-Level and Hands-On: You can discuss company learning architecture with leadership in the morning, then spend the afternoon fixing a brittle automation, cleaning context, or improving one person's daily AI workflow.
  • High Agency: You do not wait for a clean brief. You find leverage, prove it, document it, and scale it. If you are unsure what matters most, you investigate quickly and make the next useful move.
  • Constructive Candour: You are willing to tell people when a workflow is broken, when a prompt is vague, when an automation is dangerous, or when an AI result is not good enough yet.

Technical Bar

This section is intentionally blunt because we received too many non-technical applicants for the previous AI role.

  • This is a technical role: You must be comfortable building, integrating, debugging, and maintaining AI-enabled systems.
  • This is not a prompt-only role: Prompting matters, but it is not enough. We need someone who can connect systems and make them reliable.
  • This is not a pure strategy role: You will influence strategy, but the job is to ship operational infrastructure.
  • This is not an entry-level AI enthusiast role: Curiosity is welcome. Technical proof of work is required.

What We Offer

  • Real Ownership: This role touches the nervous system of the company. You will help decide how Soldera learns, remembers, automates, evaluates, and scales judgement through AI.
  • Direct Access to Leadership: You will work closely with the founders and senior team on company-wide effectiveness, not sit in a support function waiting for tickets.
  • A Serious AI Environment: We already use AI agents, OpenClaw, internal knowledge systems, automation, and AI-assisted workflows every day. You will be upgrading a live machine.
  • A Frontier Market: We are building critical infrastructure for the European renewable energy certificate market, with Fortune 500 buyers, 4,000+ power plants, and a huge amount of domain knowledge to encode.
  • Location: In-person in Tartu is highly, highly preferred. Standout remote applicants will be considered if they can prove exceptional independence, communication, and output.

How to Apply

We do not need a polished cover letter. We need technical proof that you can improve a system.

Send your CV, LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, architecture notes, shipped automations, demos, or any other proof of work.
